RGC’s Women’s Ministry would like to invite you to our Known & Loved event with guest speaker, Brenda Pauken.

Brenda was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. It was there that she met her husband, Dave. They have been married for 33 years and have three adult sons. Brenda and her family moved to Northern Virginia in the mid-90s and began attending Guilford Baptist Church (now Sterling Park Baptist) in 2006. Brenda holds a BS in Business Administration from Towson University and an MA in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary, and has completed an internship at the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF). Brenda joined the staff at Sterling Park Baptist in 2014.

In the book Growing Your Faith, Jerry Bridges says, “Spiritual fellowship is not a social activity but a relationship of two or more believers who want to help each other grow in Christ. God has created us to be dependent both on Him and on one another.” Join us as we learn together what it means to have spiritual friendships and how we develop new ones or cultivate existing ones! Brenda Pauken will be sharing a biblical foundation for spiritual friendships, practical steps for discipleship, and how to care for women who have experienced trauma.

We hope you can join us as we intentionally build relationships to help each other grow in Christ!
