Men’s Simeon Trust Bible Study – Informational Meeting

January 13, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am

Guys, are you tired of lifeless times of Bible reading?

Do you sometimes wish you got more out of your Bible reading? How can we more consistently open our Bibles and understand them so that we can cultivate our relationship with the living God?

The Bible is an ancient book filled with different kinds of writing, from poetry to stories to proverbs and more. Each of these genres requires unique reading strategies to understand, apply, and teach others. The Simeon Trust Literary Genre Course is designed to help you read your Bible better. In this class we will work through the six major literary genres of the Bible. The class will require 3-4 hours of work every two weeks. And as we study we will learn how to find the author’s intended emphasis, theme, and aim, and most

importantly how to apply the Word of God to our lives today. And we will learn to read our whole Bibles in a way that points us to Jesus. We’ll also enjoy fellowship and form relationships with one another as we study and grow together.

Everything you need to know is in the fact sheet here and will be discussed at this informational meeting.  We look forward to seeing all who can make it. Please feel free to invite a friend.
