Men’s Bible Study: The Gospels & Acts
Saturday, October 12 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am
The Gospels are the heart of the Bible. They declare that the center of human history is found in God’s act of sending His only Son. And this message must be proclaimed, from the first days of the church (captured in Acts) to now. Yet, these five books are also complex, drawing together discourse and narrative, history and prophecy and apocalyptic, theology and ethics.
God’s Word is eternally relevant, but we need strategies to understand it. The Simeon Trust Men’s Bible study is designed to help us grow in our study skills so that we might read our Bibles and encounter God.
This fall, we’ll be studying the Gospels and Acts. We’ll meet every other Saturday from September 14-November 9, 8:00-9:30 a.m. We will learn how to find the author’s intended emphasis and how it applies to us today. Best of all, we’ll learn how to find Christ in every passage of Scripture. We’ll also enjoy fellowship with one another as we study and grow together.
Please register for the class. You can sign up for the videos here (the cost is $19). A Zoom option is available by request.
