“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ …”
– Galatians 6:2
Living in community as believers means that we have several options for getting help as we seek to mature in Christ and when life’s challenges become overwhelming. We can go to family or friends, reach out to those in our Care Group, or get counsel from an Elder. However, when the challenges require more time than can be spent in one or two meetings, or you need dedicated discipleship, Biblical Counseling may be your next step.
Our goal in the Biblical Counseling Ministry is to help those who are hurting by actively listening to their concerns and providing practical, biblical, Christ-centered counseling and discipleship. We believe Scripture is God’s inspired revelation to all people. It is trustworthy in providing solutions to human problems, and helps bring to light the complex and often hidden desires and motives of the heart. Healing and growth can take place when the power of the Holy Spirit and the truth of the gospel operate together in our hearts. Our role as counselors is to direct people to the sure hope and power of Christ to restore and heal.
