Joseph joined the Leadership Team in November 2014. He is responsible for teaching the 5th/6th Grade Sunday class and occasionally preaching and administering the sacraments.
As a member of The U.S. Army Blues Jazz Ensemble for 19 years, Joseph plays saxophone and is the musical director for the ensemble.
Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Arts degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. He has also taken some classes at Reformed Theological Seminary.
Joseph and his wife, Mary, came to the church in 2006. They have five children: Daniel, Anna, John, Abigail, and Peter.
In addition to spending time with Mary and their children, Joseph loves mountain biking, roasting and drinking coffee, and playing small-group jazz in local venues.
