Paul came on staff in 2015 as the leader of our Youth Ministry, five15. He leads and teaches teens at our five15 Sunday evening meetings and has separate meetings with the teens’ parents. In addition, he oversees the annual mission trip to the Rancho 3M Orphanage in Guadalupe, Mexico. He also published his first book, Gospel-Centered War: Finding Freedom From Enslaving Sin.
Previously, Paul was the Youth Pastor/Associate Pastor and then the Lead Pastor at Grace Crossing Church in Louisville, KY, where he led the church in a discipleship initiative. Paul has also been a Sargent/Squad Leader in the Kentucky Army National Guard, and has held several secular jobs. He is originally from Mansfield, Ohio.
Paul has a Bachelor of Arts in Expository Preaching and Pastoral Leadership from Boyce College in Louisville. He is currently enrolled in The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is pursuing a Master of Divinity Program with a Concentration in Christian Ministry.
Paul is married to Leah and they have three children: Uriah, Lyla, and Evangelina.
In addition to writing, Paul enjoys reading, exercising, hiking, and spending time with his family.
