The Bible Project is an effort to make animated videos of the Bible’s books and themes. These animations are interesting, free, and do a good job of showing how the Bible is one big story that leads to Jesus.
God has chosen to reveal himself to us in words, in this book we call the Bible, so we will always be a people of the book. Yet we can benefit greatly from various resources that help us better understand this book, and the Bible Project videos do just that. If you aren’t familiar with their work, or haven’t seen the overview of Jonah, check it out. Just like Jonah isn’t a simple kids’ story about a whale, these animations are more than just cartoons for kids.
