Community Groups rgcstaff
“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God…Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone… In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” – Ephesians 2:19-22
We encourage members of the Redeeming Grace Family to connect with others in our church outside of the Sunday meeting.
In fast-paced Northern Virginia, forming genuine relationships can be difficult. At Redeeming Grace, one of the ways we live out gospel-centered community is through our Community Groups. Made up of men and women from different generations of life, these groups meet throughout the week so that we can do life with one another, study God’s Word together, and encourage one another in our mission to be disciples making disciples. Groups meet in various locations. You can find a list of the different Community Groups below.
Newcomers to Redeeming Grace Church can learn more about Community Groups and church involvement by taking the Membership Explored class. If you need further assistance finding a Community Group, please email Kristo Voda.
We look forward to getting to know you!

Our Community Group is made up of a few young families and young single adults. We meet on Wednesday for a group meeting two times a month and we have men’s and women’s gatherings scheduled in-between. We would love to connect with more people in our community. Give Paul a call!
We love to reflect God’s family by having people from different seasons of life! We have families with young children, with teenage children and with adult children. We welcome both marrieds and single. We are quite an international community group with several countries and languages represented! We meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month in Fairfax. We would love for you to join us to fellowship, discuss God’s word and encourage one another.
This group is generally aimed toward late-college/early-career members (both singles and married couples) of the church. Our format is to generally share a meal together and then spend time studying the Bible and sharing about how God has met us over the past week. Every third Wednesday of the month, we have a “fun night” with games, a movie, or another group activity.
We meet every week to include Bible study, fellowship meals and men’s and women’s meetings. We make it a priority to live life together. We are a group that is sensitive to multiple food allergies and we have lots of kids. Sometimes chaotic, but all for God’s glory!!!
Our group includes couples and singles of various ages (current attendees all have kids, though some are empty-nesters). We generally meet on the first and third Fridays of the month. Our meetings begin at 7:30 with a generous helping of snacks and conversation. We often devote time to prayer for one another, seek to spend some time in God’s Word during each meeting, and sometimes sing worship songs together. The evening concludes with more food and fellowship. All are welcome, with or without kids, and we are dog-friendly! (Yes, members have brought their dog to the meeting.)
Mixed, singles, married; from youth to grandparents. Several military families. Meet two Wednesdays a month with gatherings outside the meeting times. Besides prayer, main discussion item is the sermon series.
The Clifton Community Group is an eclectic group of believers who desire to know God more deeply and personally. We bring our different church and life experiences and ages to the discussion and use the Bible to moderate our conversation.
We are a group of people who meet 2 Fridays per month to sing together, study God’s word and share prayer requests. We also take the time to get to know one another, discuss challenges and victories from the week and pray for each other.
Our group meets in Fair Lakes on most Wednesdays at 7:30pm. In terms of demographics, the group consists of both singles and married couples in their 20s and early 30s. We spend time reading a short passage of Scripture and discussing it together as a group and following the discussion we usually spend some time in prayer. Afterwards, we have snacks and enjoy catching up with one another.
We have a wonderful group of singles and married folks who love the Lord. We love to get together and we share two meals a month. We have been blessed to have wonderful worship in our group which meets on the first, second and third Wednesdays. We pray for each other. We discuss the Sunday messages. We find way we can care for one another and others outside our group.
This has been a married couples group that seems to be transitioning to a mixed group. We meet as a group every other Friday and have an additional men’s or women’s meeting. We open God’s Word, often following up on Sunday’s message, to better understand how to apply His Word to our lives and we pray for one another each meeting.
We are a mix of middle-age couples and singles that meet on the first and third Thursday each month. We love Christ Jesus, enjoy community and Biblical fellowship, worship, serving God, engaging scripture, and caring for one another. New folks are welcome!
