“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God…Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone… In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”
– Ephesians 2:19-22
In fast-paced Northern Virginia, forming genuine relationships can be difficult. At Redeeming Grace, one of the ways we live out gospel-centered community is through our Community Groups. Made up of men and women from different generations of life, these groups meet throughout the week so that we can do life with one another, study God’s Word together, and encourage one another in our mission to be disciples making disciples. Groups meet in various locations. You can find a list of the different Community Groups below.
We're a group currently consisting of 20's and 30's married and singles. We meet on Wednesdays at 7:30pm every week to discuss the sermon from the previous Sunday. We'll eat dinner before/during our discussion from time to time, a fellowship night with food every last Wednesday of the month, and an inductive Bible study on a Saturday morning usually around the beginning of the month.

Our community group welcomes people wherever they are currently in their spiritual journey and we are comprised of young adults (20s and 30s), singles, and married couples. We meet at the Hollingsworth home in Burke on Tuesdays from 6:30-9 pm. We discuss the passage for the upcoming sermon, pray for one another, and allow the Spirit to move us through conversations and praise of Him. Join us for worship, conversation, and prayer! We hope that our community group will be a place to welcome those who are new or newer to the church.
Our Community Group welcomes singles and families. We meet on Saturday evenings so that the entire family can be involved, and end early enough to make sure everyone gets rest before Sunday. We share a meal and spend time in Bible study and prayer. Please contact us for the current schedule of our gatherings.

This has been a married couples group that seems to be transitioning to a mixed group. We meet as a group every other Friday and have an additional men’s or women’s meeting. We open God’s Word, often following up on Sunday’s message, to better understand how to apply His Word to our lives and we pray for one another each meeting.

We are a relatively new group that meets on Sundays right after service from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Our home is about a five minute drive from church near GMU. We generally meet on the first and third Sundays of each month. During our meetings, you can expect to share in a light meal, press a bit deeper on the preached Word and spend time in prayer together. We hope that our Sunday meetings will be an opportunity to welcome those who are new or newer to the church or those just looking to find fellowship after service. All are welcome! For those with younger children, we have a teenage daughter who is excellent with kids and would love to serve your family. During the remainder of the year, we’ll meet outdoors as the weather permits.

We are a multi-generational group meeting on Tuesdays. On the first and third Tuesdays of each month we share dinner together at 6:30 p.m. and follow with discussion/prayer/Bible study at 7:30 p.m. The women meet on the second Tuesday and the men meet on the fourth Wednesday (not a typo!). All are welcome. Families are invited to bring their children. We’d love to have you join us!

Our group meets on Sunday afternoons, generally at 1:00 (one meeting a month we meet at the church, and the second meeting we meet in the home of one of our members). We generally share a lunch and study the various texts/verses from the current sermon series. We seek to pray for one another and enjoy Christian fellowship. We are a new group that welcomes people from various seasons of life! If you are interested, please call Kenneth and he can give you details and directions to our next meeting! We’d be glad for you to join us.
Our group includes couples and singles of various ages (some with young kids, some with teens, some with no kids, and some empty-nesters). We generally meet from 12:45-2:30 on Sundays. Two meetings each month include all group members, one includes only men, and one includes only women. One of our “all-group” meetings each month is at the church building, and the other is at the home of a member who lives within 10 minutes of the church building. Our meetings generally begin with lunch and conversation. We often devote time to pray for one another, seek to spend some time in God’s Word during each meeting, and encourage each other toward love and good deeds in Christ. All are welcome, with or without kids.
