Men’s Bible Study: Apocalyptic Genre (Simeon Trust Course)

Saturday, April 6 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am

How does a 21st century Christian learn to navigate, interpret, and then apply ancient apocalyptic literature like the book of Revelation or parts of Daniel and Ezekiel? How can these books apply to our lives today? Apocalyptic literature is often viewed as hard to understand and we may convince ourselves that there are just too many strange things going on that don’t make sense. But when we dig deep and start to appreciate the imagery, we find that this literature has an incredible capacity to bring hope in the triumph of Jesus Christ.

God’s Word is eternally relevant, but we need strategies to understand it. The Simeon Trust Men’s Bible study is designed to help us grow in our study skills so that we might read our Bibles and encounter God.

We’ll meet every other Saturday from March 23 – May 18*, 8:00-9:30 a.m. We will learn how to find the author’s intended emphasis and how it applies to us today. Best of all, we’ll learn how to find Christ in every passage of Scripture. We’ll also enjoy fellowship with one another as we study and grow together.

Register here. A Zoom option is available by request.
