As a church, we long to go into our world with the good news to make and equip growing disciples of Jesus Christ. Throughout the year we do this in different ways: we pray regularly for Jesus’ glory to be made known in every corner of the earth, we support members who are church planting and serving in other countries as well as locally, we give financially to missions’ organizations, we send focused teams to partner in missions with locals, and more!

 As Christmas approaches and we celebrate the birth of our Savior, we want to find ways to share this wonderful news with the world! One of the ways we can do this is through Operation Christmas Child. Local churches around the world are equipped to receive hundreds of children and families, share the good news of Jesus as well as a tangible expression of love, and invite communities to participate in discipleship.

 If you would like to be part of this initiative, there are multiple ways to get involved:

• You can pick up a shoebox at the lobby, pack your box and drop it off at the church with $9 to cover shipping expenses
• You can also drop off items to place inside the boxes and/or donate $9 to help cover shipping expense
• You can join us on Sunday, October 27 at noon for lunch and a gift-packing party!

Whether you pack your own box, bring gifts to stuff the boxes with, give to cover shipping expenses, or volunteer to help pack all the donations into boxes, we hope you find a way this Christmas to share with others the good news of the true Gift we celebrate!
