Partnering with Parents is a context where the elders and leaders seek to address issues related to raising kids and to provide space for teaching, interaction, questions, and prayer.

We will be covering the very important topic of suicide prevention. We will hear from Marin Rieger, a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young adults. This workshop is designed to provide helpful counsel for how to think about and speak about suicide in our community. It will include:

• How to assess suicide intent and ideation
• How to help the vulnerable stay safe
• How to talk to someone who is considering suicide
• Resources that can help
• Time for Q & A

This workshop is being hosted by Five15, but it is open to everyone in our church community. Please invite friends and others who may be interested or helped by a discussion of this critical topic. Our desire is for our community to be equipped and aware so we can do all we can to protect the vulnerable. Please join us on December 5^th.
