Bible Reading Plan: Grow as a Disciple by Reading God’s Word
A disciple is a person who knows, loves, and obeys Jesus and encourages others to do the same.
One of the most important ways that a disciple can grow in their knowledge and understanding of God’s gospel is through regular Bible reading and meditation on Scripture. Reading the Bible each day helps us to know God better and renew our minds so we can think thoughts after him, and be transformed into his likeness.
Our church Bible reading plan is based on the Robert Murry M’Cheyne plan. If you follow it, you will read through the New Testament and the Psalms twice and half of the Old Testament in the first year. The second year, you will follow the same pattern but finish the other half of the Old Testament.
Are you looking for an alternative plan? Here are several other options.
Whatever helps you grow in your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, please take that step in your Bible reading in the coming days.
