We need an awe-awakening vision of the Lord’s King
- The nations rage and the Lord responds (vv. 1-6)

- Scene 1: The nations rage(vv. 1-3)
- Scene 2: the Lord laughs (vv. 4-6)
- The Messiah arrives, how will the nations respond? (vv. 7-12)

- Scene 3: The Messiah arrives (vv. 7-9)
- I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son.
2 Samuel 7:14a - And we bring you the good news that what God promised to the fathers, this he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus, as also it is written in the second Psalm, “‘You are my Son, today I have begotten you.’“
Acts 13:32–33
