Partnering with Parents (PWP) is a monthly meeting that occurs during the first Five15 Youth Meeting of the month and is open to parents of children of all ages. During our time together, we aim to provide brief instruction from God’s Word and to encourage one another in the high and holy call of parenting. For this meeting, we will start by watching this teaching by Ed Welch on parenting children who are often distracted or have ADD/ADHD. We will then discuss the following questions together:

• How do I engage my child who is often distracted, has trouble paying attention, gets overwhelmed easily, or has a “busy brain”?
• How do I serve my child who might have ADD/ADHD?
• How do I understand what is happening in their minds?
• What should my attitude be, and how can I avoid anger?
