Mark Mullery On Sabbatical

Mark retired on June 1, 2026, from his role on staff as Teaching Pastor at Redeeming Grace Church since 1999. He is currently on sabbatical through the rest of 2026. It has been an honor to serve as RGC’s teaching pastor for the past 27 years, as he’s loved helping God’s people grow through understanding and applying God’s Word. It has also been his joy to equip and learn from faithful pastors in difficult parts of the world.

Mark has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry from Cal Poly Humboldt in northern California. It was there that he discovered and fell in love with the local church. He also has a Master of Divinity Degree from Fuller Seminary.

He is delighted to have been married to his best friend, Lesley, since 1982. They have four adult children spread out across the country. In addition to working with wood, Mark loves hiking, watching Washington Nationals baseball, reading good novels, and enjoying his Japanese garden.
