Steven Zhou Worship Coordinator

Steven serves in the Director of Operations role overseeing HR, finance, communications, facilities, Sunday planning, and worship. He also assists the elders with strategic planning and forecasting. Prior to coming on staff, he served as a deacon at RGC and worked in HR analytics and higher education. Steven completed his PhD in organizational psychology from George Mason University in 2024 and his MDiv from Western Seminary in 2019.

Steven and his wife, Ruth, met in college at Pepperdine University and were married in 2018. They moved out to Fairfax when Steven began his PhD program and plugged into RGC right away. Steven and Ruth welcomed their first baby girl, Annika, into the family in 2024. Outside of church, family, and academia, Steven enjoys writing and teaching on leadership, teamwork, and statistical data analysis.
