Vacation Bible School 2025 - Redeeming Grace Church

Q: What should my child wear to VBS?

Your child should wear clothing that is comfortable and shoes that are sturdy. Once your child receives their VBS t-shirt on the first day, we recommend that they wear it everyday!

Q: What snacks will you be serving?

We avoid all nuts in our snacks. If your child has additional dietary restrictions, we ask that you pack and label a separate snack for them every day.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) registration officially opens on May 18, 2025. Early Bird Registration will be open from May 18 through June 23, and the Early Bird cost is $35 per child. On June 24, the price will increase to $45 per child. The last day to register will be July 7! If you need to cancel your registration, you may cancel through July 7 and receive a full refund. Refunds will not be made after July 7. Please reach out to Elizabeth Swadener if you have any questions or need financial assistance.

Bible

We'll learn how stories in the Bible point us to Christ.
Missions

We'll learn about missionaries around the world and how we can share the gospel with our neighbors right here in Fairfax.
Games

We'll play fun games and activities outside that help us learn more about God and the gospel.
Crafts

We'll learn about God and the gospel through crafts that go with each day's theme.
Music

We'll learn a different song each day, and we'll sing and dance for the glory of God!
Snacks

We'll make and eat themed snacks each day.

8:45-9:00

You may drop off your child between 8:45 and 9:00, and we'll begin promptly at 9:00! When you arrive for drop off and pick up, please park in the Lower Parking Lot, and enter and exit through the red double doors in the basement of the building.

9:00-9:15

We'll begin our time together each day with a welcome gathering. Parents, you're welcome to join us for this!

9:15-12:15

Children will rotate with their age groups between the six stations (25 minutes each) listed above.

12:15-12:30

We'll close our time together each day with a closing gathering, which will include performing our song that we learned that day. Parents, you're also welcome to join us during this time!

What should my child bring to VBS?

It would be helpful for your child to bring a reusable water bottle labeled with their name. We'll be playing games outside and moving around a lot!

What should my child wear to VBS?

What should I do with my child's medication, inhaler, epi-pen, etc.?

If your child has a medical diagnosis or allergy, please fill out the Medical/Allergy Form that you receive after registering and either send it to Elizabeth Swadener or bring it with you on the first day of VBS. When you check in each day, please give your child’s medication, inhaler, epi-pen, etc. to our medical team member at the medical table stationed in the Basement Lobby. Make sure it’s labeled with your child’s first and last name!
