Community Group Leader Spring Training 2023

What is Spring Training 2023 and why might you be interested in attending?

Spring Training 2023 is a context designed to equip and encourage our Community Group leaders and to provide an opportunity for others to be equipped to lead as well. We are calling this event  Spring Training because like in baseball, it is helpful when veteran players and those preparing for the major leagues come together to review the basics every spring. Being a good Community Group Leader is not complicated, but it requires faithfulness to the important things!

Since 2022 we have had over 60 new members join us at RGC. These men and women have committed to being a part of our mission as a church family. In a larger church like Redeeming Grace, Community Groups are an important context where members can form meaningful relationships. That’s why Community Groups are an essential part of our mission to make and equip growing disciples, and why we need more Community Groups in our growing church!

I would like to invite you to consider if Spring Training might be a way for you to grow as a disciple making disciple? It is designed for current Community Group Leaders as well as those who might be interested in being trained to lead or help lead a community group, even if that is down the road!

Spring Training is an equipping event for existing and future leaders where we will be talking about our philosophy and understanding of community groups at RGC. Vince, Justin, and I will be teaching, and it promises to be a very encouraging time! If you have any questions about coming, please speak with your Community Group Leaders.

Spring Training is scheduled for Saturday March 4, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the Basement Auditorium. Childcare is available if requested by March 1.

Spring Training is free of charge, but please take a moment to REGISTER as soon as possible (before March 1). We will serve a light breakfast at 8:30 a.m., so come early to meet others and we will start right at 9:00 a.m.!

I hope you can join us!
