When you arrive on Sunday, please visit the Grace Kids help desk in the Basement Lobby, or use a kiosk in the Main Lobby or Basement Lobby to check in your children. You’ll receive a sticker/name tag for each child, and a matching one for a parent, which you’ll need when it’s time to pick them up.
At RGC we worship together as families, so proceed into the Main Auditorium for worship, and then after the announcement time, you’ll be invited to take your children to Grace Kids. Please bring your child to their classroom, where they’ll get checked in. After the sermon and concluding songs, come back to the classroom with your sticker to check-out your child!
Child Safety
All volunteers working in Grace Kids have gone through an application process and background screening. Teachers and helpers alike are trained in safety procedures, and we commit to always having at least two unrelated volunteers with the children at all times. A gluten-free, dairy-free snack (typically rice squares – similar to Rice Chex™) is served in many classes.
When you check your child in, you will receive one sticker for each of your children, and one for you. The child’s sticker has a unique 4-digit alphanumeric code on it, and yours will have all of your children’s codes. When you come to pick up your child, you must present this matching sticker to the teacher.
If we need to reach you during the service, we will project the child’s code on the projection screens in the main meeting. If your child’s code is displayed, please come to your child’s classroom.
We take child protection seriously, and have developed some guidelines to help us promote child safety. Please take a minute to review a summary of our Child Protection Guidelines. You can also learn more about our Child Protection Advisory Team (CPAT) here.
For more information and to check in your children, please stop by the basement lobby and visit the Grace Kids Help Desk after 10:00 a.m.
Child Dedications
A child dedication is an opportunity for parents to publicly declare their intentions to raise their children to disciples who love God by following Jesus. Child dedications are not sacraments, nor are they commanded in Scripture, yet we find them to be a helpful practice to allow parents the opportunity to publicly express their commitment to make disciples of their children. Find more information and our schedule here.
Volunteers
Serving in Grace Kids
Church members and children of members (aged 12 and over) are encouraged to serve with us in children’s ministry – Grace Kids! Below you can find more information about the inner workings of Grace Kids. All volunteers working in Grace Kids go through an application process, background screening, and training.
