History
For almost a decade, our partnership with elders Alvaro Rodríguez (from Perú) and Jeremías Collado (from the D.R.) from Iglesia Cristiana Oasis (Oasis Church) has grown as they have welcomed us to serve alongside them at Oasis Church, Oasis Christian School, and the Santiago Theological Seminary. Our gospel partners in Santiago, Dominican Republic have continued in their mission to share Christ’s love to the nearby under-served communities, to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in their church and beyond, and to enjoy God’s goodness.
Opportunities For RGC This Summer!
This July 5-12, we will welcome 14 graduating seniors and 4 chaperones from Oasis Christian School into our homes and lives for their senior trip! We will explore the D.C. area and come alongside Oasis Church in evangelizing and discipleship these teenagers.
For this, we need 7-9 homes to host two or more of our visitors from the afternoon of Saturday, July 5, to the morning of Saturday, July 12. Host families will be asked to:
- Drop off and pick up students at the church building for the various activities of the day (some days may be a drop-off/pick up at a Metro Station)
- Provide a light breakfast and dinner most days, one potluck lunch, and one packed lunch
- If able, encouraged to participate throughout the week
