Last Sunday, I preached from 1 Corinthians 10:1-11:1. As the elders and I have had a chance to reflect on this sermon, we would like to share a few resources we recommend on gender and transgenderism. I hope it helps you as you navigate these tricky cultural waters. My prayer is that you prayerfully study the Scriptures and come to conclusions that are shaped by the Bible. - Gender Ideology by Sharon James. If you are starting fresh on this topic, start with this one. Sharon James’ book is short, practical, and immensely wise.
- The Body God Gives by Robert Smith. If you want to dive deep into the topic, this book offers a multi-disciplinary approach (history, biology, sociology, Bible).
- Strange New World by Carl Trueman. If you’re wondering how modern society got to a place where transgenderism is normal, this book is for you.
